In addition to highlighting and linking various ethics initiatives across ACU, the Ethics Hub is also responsible for spearheading new programs, projects, resources, and formation opportunities for staff, students, and the wider public. Masterclass on Any Catholic University

An online video masterclass by Professor Hayden Ramsay (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Coordination) exploring the ways various member groups – executives, teachers, researchers, professional staff, students and others – are understood in the Catholic intellectual tradition.

Catholic Schools: Nature and Purpose

An important Catholic educational, cultural and societal project on the philosophy of education and the identity of Catholic schools, led by Professor John Haldane in partnership with the Archdiocese of Melbourne and Catholic Education Melbourne.

Intensive Formation Seminars

A seminars program, in collaboration with leading ACU institutes, that will seek to provide intellectual formation and network building for students and young professionals in the community. Seminars will be launched in 2021 focusing on public affairs, public ethics, and bioethics.

Ethics Finder

An online search engine containing curated links to articles, videos, books, and Church teaching on a broad range of philosophical, ethical, cultural, and political issues, and in particular, Catholic approaches to and treatments of these issues. A ‘one-stop shop’ for anyone interested in Catholic ethical thinking and the social and moral debates it prompts.
