The ACU Sustainability Report 2020 has been published and is available for you to read on the ACU website.
The report articulates how ACU is responding to the calls to action outlined in Pope Francis’s letter to the world Laudato si’, and how we’re supporting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The report shows how the university is making a difference through our holistic approach to sustainability. It explores how we are caring for our common home through our efforts in community engagement, learning and teaching, research and university operations.
As co-sponsor of ACU’s sustainability program, I thank our staff and students for contributing to the wide variety of initiatives it encompasses. These initiatives support the environment, enhance health and education, and strengthen inclusion in ways that uphold human dignity and the common good.
Whether your work to support sustainability is conducted in your office or classroom, within the local community or on the global stage together we are living the ACU mission. I encourage you to read the report and see the bigger picture that you are contributing to and know the impact we’re making.
